High school students from Al Hikmah Surabaya in Indonesia visited the University of Yamanashi

On December 4th, 2023, 56 high school students from Al Hikmah Surabaya in Indonesia visited University of Yamanashi as part of an overseas study program.
Professor Kentaro Go of Faculty of Engineering gave a welcome speech, and professor Hiromitsu Nishizaki, Director of the Center for the Promotion of Internationalization, gave an overview of the University of Yamanashi and Faculty of Engineering.
This was followed by a technical hands-on session on grape berry picking and suitable harvest decision using smart glasses developed by the University of Yamanashi.
After a briefing by Assistant Professor Prawit Buayai from Faculty of Engineering, and with the support of graduate students who participated in the development of the smart glasses, the students actually put on the smart glasses and experienced a simulation of the grape berry picking and harvest process.
