The paper "Low temperature synthesis of aluminum nitride from anhydrous aluminum chloride-organic amine complex, Miki Uchida, Takahiro Takei, Nobuhiro Kumada, Hideyuki Tsutsui, Kazuki Azuma and Takashi Toyama, J. Ceram. Soc. Jpn., 130[8]707-714, 2022" has been selected for the Award of the Outstanding Papers Published in the JCS-Japan in 2022. This paper summarizes the results of research conducted by Professor Takahiro Takei and Professor Nobuhiro Kumada of the Center for Crystal Science and Technology and Nippon Light Metal Co., Ltd. This paper reports the possibility to synthesize aluminum nitride at a low temperature of 1000℃ or less by preparing an aluminum-amine complex. This award selects up to three papers on excellent ceramics research each year, and in fiscal 2022, three papers were selected from 114 papers.
