Mr. Fujimori Hiroaki received an excellent presentation award in the 51st Japan National Conference on Geotechnical Engineering held at Okayama University on September 13 – 15th, 2016. 

The title of his presentation was “Study on the grasp and evaluation of the unsaturated seepage behavior of soil by using MRI”. The study suggests that complicated unsaturated seepage behavior can be easily visualized, and these finding will lead to the elucidation of relevance of slope collapse and the piping phenomenon with the rainfall. 

He said “It is my great honor to receive such a big award. I truly appreciate the cooperation from the members in the lab and the stuff of faculty of medicine for this research.”
