Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP) and University of Yamanashi signed a Dual Degree Program agreement.

On February 5th, the delegate of Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP), led by President Prof. Dr. R. Badlishah Ahmad, visited University of Yamanashi, and the signing ceremony for an agreement of Doctoral Dual Degree Program between two universities was held.

Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP)and University of Yamanashi signed their exchange agreement in 2017, and since then exchange of faculty members and students as well as joint researches have been actively conducted. In the discussion about the Dual Degree Program and the establishment of a Joint Research Center, detailed plans for future activities were discussed. The delegate visited laboratories at Department of Electronics and Electrical Engineering and Department of Mechanical Engineering and discussed about the potential joint research topics.

In the signing ceremony, President Dr. R. Badlishah Ahmad and President Dr. Shinji Shimada confirmed the strong ties and further promotion of the exchange between two universities. After the ceremony, the delegate visited the Fuel Cell Nanomaterials Center.
