(15-16 November 2018). The research subjects were \u201cOrigin of material softening in Bi-based lead-free piezoelectric ceramics (Dr. Sangwook Kim)\u201d, \u201cOptimization of preparation conditions for a synthesis of highly textured piezoelectric (Bi<sub>0.5<\/sub>K<sub>0.5<\/sub>)TiO<sub>3<\/sub> ceramics (Mr. Gopal Prasad Khanal)\u201d, \u201cThe Influence of annealing temperature and time in Bi-based piezoelectric ceramics (Mr. Hyunwook Nam)\u201d and \u201cInvestigation of Sintering Conditions and Electrical Properties of BiFeO<sub>3<\/sub>-based Piezoelectric Ceramics<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0(Mr. Tomoya Aizawa)\u201d. These researches are challenging to develop high performance Bi-based piezoelectric ceramics without toxic lead ions by material design and microstructural control.
