題目： The Identification of Critical Landuse by Satellite Imagery and its Impact into Flood Hazard – A Case of Sampean Watershed – Indonesia
概要： The landuse changing is a complex problem as the process relates to the natural and human factors. In common cases, the changes lead to the negative results in example slope failures induced by the increasing surface runoff. Within this study it aims to classify the recent status of landuse of Sampean watershed by utilizing a Free Open Source(FOS)-GIS Integrated Land Water Information System (ILWIS) and Landsat 8 image. The status of land was analyzed by using standard of Soil Conservation and Land Rehabilitation Agency (BRLKT). As the results, it was indicated that within the period of 2003 to 2013 the Sampean watershed area was determined as very critical (0.6%), critical (1.5%), moderate (13.3%) and potentially critical (61.7%). These categorized levels have mostly been affected by the inappropriate land management and land cover. On other hand, 22.9% of watershed area remained non-critical. The total basin runoff increased by 6% from 462.8 m3/s in 2003 to 489.6m3/s in 2013. To address the problems, some recommendation were then made for improving landuse by the selection of appropriate and selective land management as well as focusing on soil conservation measures.
