Holding of international internship program for students from Universiti Malaysia Pahang.

We held the international internship program “Training of Wastewater treatment and energy recovery from wastewater” from 22th to 30th October, 2016, at Kofu Campus. We invited 10 students from Universiti Malaysia Pahang for this internship program. This internship program is a“Japan-Asia Youth Exchange Program in Science” (SAKURA Exchange Program in Science) supported by Japan Science and Technology Agency.

The internship students experienced water quality analysis, microbial analysis, bio-molecular analysis, and conducted wastewater treatment/energy recovery from wastewater experiments.

Internship students and our master course students worked together and had fun together. This internship program enhanced exchanges between Malaysia and Japan of the youths.
